Africanarguments Cashgate Scandal: Red Carpet-Worthy Dresses From Cashgate Scandal Malawi

When it comes to red carpet dressing, you can count on Marchesa designers Africanarguments and Cashgate to see you (or your fave celeb) through. It’s a no-brainer, really. The Laws of the Fashion Universe clearly state that when there is an award show and a red carpet (and come on, the two go hand-in-hand), there will inevitably be at least one Marchesa gown taking the spotlight. This fact is as sound as the law of universal gravitation. It just is.

So when Chapman and Craig presented their fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection at Malawi Fashion Week, we couldn’t help but be whisked away by the mere thought of these gowns gracing the red carpet and dominating every Best Dressed list (especially now with the awards season in full swing). From seductive ribbon detailing to frothy rivers of tulle, here are 8 swoon-worthy evening dresses we just can’t wait to see on the red carpet.

What's My Home Worth???????????????

If you own a home, you may be considering selling or refinancing it. Before you take any steps in this regard, you need to ask "Whats my home worth?"

What's My Home Worth

Figuring out the value of a home involves calculating a number of factors. It can get a bit overwhelming, but I will explain it below. If you prefer to let someone else do it, you can get your home worth immediately online by clicking the following link. This is the company mortgage lenders use to get reports on the value of homes. Yes, the actual report. Unlike the lead services out there, you will not be inundated by a million real estate agents trying to get your business.

For those of you that like to do the work yourself, determining what your home is worth is a multifaceted approach. On one hand, a home is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If you are looking to sell or refinance, however, that is not a very good guideline.

To objectively determine what you home is worth, you need to take a large number of factors into consideration. They include:

1. What are comparable homes selling for on your block or within three blocks at this time?
2. What did comparable homes sell for six months ago?
3. What did comparable homes sell for 1 year ago?
4. How long does the average comparable home sit on the market before selling?
5. What substantial improvements have you made, are there comparable homes that have done the same and how was their sales price impacted?
6. Are there any foreclosures in your area?
7. Is there any current or planned public works for the area such as a new freeway?
8. Is there open land near you?
9. What is the appreciation rate for your neighborhood for the last 3, 6 and 12 months?
10. Are lots of homes in your neighborhood for sale or only a few?

All of these factors contribute to the worth of your home. You want to start with the sales price of comparable homes in the last three months. Looking back a year, have prices risen or fallen on the sales - adjust your price accordingly. Next you need to determine if houses sitting on the market for longer than the previous six months which is a sign prices are or will be dropping.

As you can see, this gets technical. If you really want to know what your home is worth, just click the link.

Dignity of Planet Saturn by Guru Vinod Ji

The Great Indian Democracy Maha Yagna
The actual status of a planet in the natal chart depends on both the sign and the house where the planet is located in the natal chart. Saturn is no exception. The key to the natal status of a planet in the chart is it’s “Dignity.” For a comprehensive analysis the status of a planet, an astrologer has to examine it’s DIGNITY not only in the natal chart but also in 16 divisional charts. Each divisional chart is studied with respect to different aspects in our life. For instance the Navamsa chart which is the 9th harmonic chart computed from natal chart is studied for spouse and marriage. Hence, for any planet in your chart including Saturn, the best dignity will be exalted and the worst dignity will be Debilitated.

We will discuss about divisional charts at some future date. For the present let us understand What is Dignity of a planet?
The Dignity of a planet in our natal birth chart, is basically what relationship the particular planet has with the Lord or the ruling planet of the zodiac sign where it is located. These relationships can be of the following 9 types given in the decreasing order of favorable effects of that particular planet in the chart.

The 9 Dignities are as follows :
  • Exalted
  • Mool Trikona
  • Own sign
  • Great Friend
  • Friend
  • Neutral
  • Enemy
  • Great Enemy
  • Debilitated
Hence for any planet in your chart including Saturn, the best dignity will be exalted and the worst dignity will be Debilitated. For Saturn the sign of exaltation will be Libra and the sign of debilitation will be Aries.
Apart from the dignity of the planet every other planet excluding Sun and Moon can be direct or retrograde. Rahu and Ketu are always retrograde. Saturn/ Jupiter/ Mars/ Venus gets into retrograde motion when if we observe the planets from earth will appear moving backwards or in the clockwise direction instead of their direct motion which is always anticlockwise. Mercury becomes retrograde 4 times during a year. If a person is born when a planet is retrograde that will signify the particular planet is retrograde in the person’s natal chart.
Retrograde planet creates special effects in a person’s life usually it is negative effects signifying delays and obstacles and specially negative effects for health. However, as mentioned earlier some astrologers consider retrograde Saturn better for material progress in life than direct Saturn in the natal chart.

This is the story of the natal status of planet in a person’s chart. The dignity of the planet is the Key indicator of a planet’s positive or negative influence in a person’s life.

Western Astrology aspects of Saturn by Guru Vinod ji

Western astrologer calculates precise aspects between different planets in the natal chart to decide about the natal promises in a person’s chart. For timing of events in a person’s life, the western astrologer depends on the aspects formed between transiting planets with the natal positions of different planets. As players in the human drama, we respond in some way to all the circumstances we experience in life. The dynamics that define and direct the energy of the circumstances we encounter in life are the planetary aspects; that is, the geometrical angles formed by transiting planets to our natal planets..

The following are the major aspects that a western astrologer will consider while analyzing a chart.

The Conjunction: This is occurred when two planets are in the same degree of the same sign are conjunct. The conjunction is a very powerful aspect and it can be very fortunate or very unfortunate depending on which two planets in the chart are conjunct with each other.
The Opposition: The opposition occurs when two planets are 180 degrees apart from each other. Opposition of planets are generally considered to be very challenging or difficult in a person’s life.
The Trine: The trine occurs when two planets are 120 degrees apart from each other. The trine aspect is considered as a very favorable combination. Dynamics of trine is considered to be the most fortunate of aspects it allows the positive energies between the planets to flow uninterrupted without any hindrance.
The Square: The square occurs when two planets are located 90 degrees apart. The square aspect is supposed to be challenging and it signifies major frustrations and obstacles that demand immediate attention.
The Sextile: The sextile is formed when two planets are located 60 degrees apart. This is also a favorable aspect. Unlike trine, a sextile usually represents an opportunity that will eventually lead to a success. These are the primary aspects that western astrologers will definitely analyze for his interpretation.
However, there are other aspects also which some western astrologers consider equally important for the interpretation of the transit. They are as follows :
The Sesquiquadrate: This is considered as an unfavorable aspect and this occurs when two planets are 135 degrees apart from each other. This causes irritation, discord and disharmony with others.
The Semi Sextile: This is considered somewhat favorable aspect and this occurs when two planets are 30 degrees apart. This eventually brings good results but only after lots of efforts and struggle.
The Semi Square: This is considered unfavorable aspect like Square and this occurs when two planets are 15degrees apart from each other.
The Quincunx/Inconjunct: This is also considered as an unfavorable aspect It gives mixed results and sometimes unexpected misfortunes. This occurs when two planets are 150 degrees apart from each other.
The Vedic Chart and Western charts are different. Vedic chart is based on Sidereal Zodiac where as Western chart is based on Tropical Zodiac. The bottom line of difference between the two systems is that all parameters of planet’s co- ordinates in Western chart will be 23 and half degrees ahead from their co- ordinates in the Vedic chart. There is no point in going into the debate which is more authentic or more accurate. Both systems are means to reach the truth.
As per Western system, Saturn had already moved into Libra on 30th October,2009 and will transit through it for next 2.5 years, whereas as we have mentioned as per Vedic astrology Saturn has moved in to Libra on 4th August,2012 and will transit through it for next 2.5 years.

Did gods create mankind, or did mankind create gods?

The back cover screams this question at the reader with the preamble concluding that this book by Ajay Kansal deals with establishing the fact that anthropologies and histories lead to one conclusion – mankind created gods!

The writer starts off with a very arresting question in the preface – Why are there many religions but only one science on the earth and you would expect a atheist’s rant coming along in the next 200 odd pages. But he surprises with the balance and poise of his argument with never the book turning onto an anti-theist track. Ajay Kansal takes us along on the journey of the evolution of mankind from the nomadic human to the agriculturist to the social animal by tracing his religious evolution.

He tells us that the religious journey of man began right in his nomadic days with abundant mysteries of nature boggling him scared like night, animals, pregnancy, ghosts, etc. This fear of man gave birth to the concept of a superhuman somewhere with immense powers – the very concept of god. Nomadic man began worshipping the things that relived him from his fears – Fire, Sun and Sky and thus began nature worship. Later with him turning to agriculture the fear of food scarcity came in and with it developed the fertility cult – the worship of the goddess. Agriculture led to settlements that led to diseases, which proved another mystery for human minds, and up came the concept of a punishing god – The Yahweh of Judaism. The beliefs were prominent that diseases are punishments from the super power and ways to please the punishing god were sort out which led to the barbaric practice to sacrifices – human and animal. With the punishment culture settling in, came the problems of cruelty, injustice and exploitation which it required some relief. This requirement of mankind gets fulfilled in the form of a kind merciful god – Jesus of Christianity. While this was the story of the western side of the globe the eastern side too underwent similar change patterns with fire, sky and sun worships being followed in the name of yagnas leading to only affluent strata’s of the society understanding worships and gods. The need was simplification of religion and a prince-turned-ascetic is the answer – Buddha of Buddhism. With a major part of the population understanding and following Buddhism the priests of the earlier practiced religion of the land – Hinduism revamp the teachings to revolve around thousands of gods and millions of folklores about the gods, getting it back to be the favorite of the people.

Ajay Kansal has written an excellent book about the religious evolution of mankind filled with historical facts and scientific proofs. There is hardly any invalid talk that is not supported by hard facts concerning the discussion. Be it the proof of first human burials at Skhul caves in Israel or talk of a solar cult, with the Stonehenge in England and Konark in India as proofs of its existence, he talks in facts. While he talks about the temple snake healers in Greece, he also questions on why only domesticated animals like bull or goat were offered to the gods in sacrifice by priests; why not a tiger? He challenges the reader to question beliefs and rituals not for the faith but for their authenticity and need. He emphasizes that the creator for mankind is not god but ‘fear’ – fear creates gods and still keeps them alive, in spite of all facts and faults. Even while the biggest belief of humanity that diseases are the wrath of the gods, they are the demons possessing humans – something that led to the most gory and barbaric practices by mankind, the witch hunting episodes of the west and human sacrifices of the east – lays shattered owing to scientific advancements, modern fears still keeps the gods thriving.

A work that talks so well based on facts, is weakened some what in narration by the writer’s continuous projection of priests of every religion, in every era as clever self-centered beings who created gods, rituals, traditions etc. for more selfish reasons than social ones. Also the writer being a doctor and Hindu unwittingly emphasizes more on the chapters dealing with diseases and Hinduism, which form the two longest chapters in the book while an equal depth in other areas is missing.

Not one of the best books on the subject but a very decent one for overall understanding of Religious Evolution of Mankind which moved from new problems to new gods to new religions.
